IT IS GETTING OLD. And you are stupid if you think EVERY ONE KNOWS what THEY ARE doing when they street race. All they know is that they want to beat the person driving the other car. You see young child, the reason racing on public streets is stupid is because the amount of uncontrolable factors are allot higher than on the track. A pedestrian might get in the way, a drunk driver might be coming against traffic, debris may be on the road, etc... etc... So when you race on the street you ARE endangering everybody because you can't control these things. So as for your childish remark that every one that post this kind of message think that they are perfect, NO I do KNOW I am not perfect, but I am smart enough to realize when it's appropriate to race and when it is not. Grow up....

^not to mention things breaking on the car...which could possible send your car out of control and into innocent bystanders, other cars, or barriers.

you think your in control...but your not.

hey im not trying to start a B***h fest. i just wanted to share an experience i had. i knew someone was going to say it, i would not have posted if i was not prepared to hear it. i know about premiums, mine is 320 a monthj. and like i said earlier, i didnt literally mean ages, i just meant a long time as in months. i dont know bout yall but like 5 months DOES seem like a long time. i knew exactly what i was doing and if a cop pulled me over i would have thanked the cop but it was just a spur of the moment little exictment. again i dont normally streetrace, i modify because its a passion. im against the guys who go 100 in a school zone. if you have a problem with what i did, fine, i dont care that much because its not something i go looking to do!

Hey Guys!

I know I'm an idiot...but I'm going to prove it to you NOW:

I was on my way home from (insert place here) when some ___ in a (insert car you hate here) pulled up and started revving his engine at me. And me, being from (insert redneck community here), I just couldn't let this universal sign of stupidity slide by! I KNOW I should have rolled down my window and given them the universal expression for retardation....but my right foot said NO NO!!!

So....we waited for the light to turn green........3....2....1.....ZOOOM! Off we went!!! Into a croud of un-suspecting innocent commuters just trying to get home....

Did I mention that I WON????

wow so you went and did it anyways even though youve already been in an acident with your friend.
just because someone isnt around doesnt mean they cant come out of somewhere where u didnt see them, or an animal can run in front of you, or something on your car can break causing you to go out of control and go in a pth you didnt intend to.

theres just to many unknown variable.

yes Street racin is stupid and im not tryin to defend what he did but he said he stopped at 65 mph and im guesin it was prob a 55 zone?(hopefully) ? I can almost garruntee that the majority of the people on SL have accelerated hard into 3rd gear from a stop light or pullin out on to a road, got a lil over the speed limit then slowed down. Like the kid said he isnt a notorious racer im guesin that this isnt the first time in 6 months that he had a guy/girl rev up to him. The kid wasnt goin 100 in a school zone right a school was gettin out. He doesnt deserve the same flamming as the kid who is racing in a crowed busy street or weaving through traffic ont he interstate doing 105 and chaseing after a car that he is "racing". Though he does deserve to get flammed for racing on the street. But kid take it to the track for your life, others lives, and for the sake of our insurance bills . The track is a controlled enviroment and requires actuall skill unlike ur average street race. When u race on the track its not all about the car, it test the driver skill also.

Kid just next time take it to the track and get urself timeslip instead of a potential ticket

yeh im hoping to get to the track once this summer! it blows hard that its close to two hours away but i wanna see what i can do in terms of 1/4 times and 60ft times! also if it helps i got two speeding tickets over the summer in two weeks where one of the cops actually thought i was running from him (no i was not, i know better...long story) but after that i push my car every once in but nothing to the point where im at risk of getting another ticket. i cant afford the fees again!
