Simple question...

What's the ratio of manual to automatic tCs?

 

Auto revs a little lower at 60mph or the final gearing ratio..
from what ive read

 

I think hes referring to how many tCs sold are autos vs how many of them are manual.

I read original production values were 25%/75%. I'm not sure what they are now.

 

i thought is was 80% auto 20% 5spd. i dont remember where i heard that though.

 

Dealership told me 15% Manual when I was having trouble
finding BOP in Manual.

But seeing how many people have manual here, I wonder if
it's not higher.

i think the number of tuners would only buy a manual... the majority of people that drive auto's leave their cars stock. they like the convience... i like playing with my car so i want more controll.. thus the manual shifter....

 

i bet the only reason you see so many manuals on these threads, is because of teksno's theory about tuners. your average joe isn't going to care so much about their car to spend time on a vehicle specific forum like this. they're just going to drive it, whereas the tuner type (who would most likely prefer a manual for the control) is going to be more interested in anything aftermarket or cool that anyone else is doing to the car.
