Nousaine witnessed it doing 110dB+ @ 4hz. No conventional radiating sub will ever do that. It's for audiophile nuts, the guys who spend $5k on hand-wound RCA cables and have amps that cost more than our cars.

The notion that the "conventional" speaker is the best way to reproduce sound-- particularly low frequencies-- simply isn't true.

I just checked out their site, that thing is wild. It would still be a little difficult for me to spend $25k on what looks like a desk fan.

There are a lot of comments on that video now saying it's nothing but a model helicopter blade on an AC motor.

I really, really wonder how something that costs $25k can be up in home videos on Youtube and not be a scam, or at least a hoax.

They are simply marketing it on youtube. They apparently take it to shows and what not, and the price of the device includes their team comming into your home to do a custom install.

Not saying it's worth it, but like noted above, wealthy audiophiles pay 10's of thousands for a single vacuum tube amp, and when the whole cost is acuumulated, it's not uncommon to spend upwards of $400k for the whole package.
