Rear brake help
I was switching out my rear brakes pads today and I misplaced the wear indicator clips that go on the pad. My question is can I install the pads without those clips or should I order them from the local dealer?

yes you can install the pads without the wear indicators, i dont even have them on mine! all you have to do is to keep track of the wear on the pads, it's easy to do with our wheels to look in there, it's what I do. hope that helps!

hey im not trying to be a jerk but are you just trolling? there are no sensors on the tC's brakes, this isn't a BMW or Audi.. it's just a wear clip.. needed to post this so no one else (newbies) get a wrong idea about the tC.

Since he mentioned a wear clip, I thought perhaps he meant a brake wear sensor, and that it came with the tc2.
Other cars come with a sensor , and it usually isn't an issue if you don't get it... it just throws a code... thus my reply...
I was going to say you were being a jerk, but since you said you weren't... I won't, lol...

I have a 06 scion tc, and a 328i.
