Rear suspension is squeaking?
Just the other day this started to happen. It's most noticeable when going slower over bumps in the road. When the back end is going up and down because of the ____ty roads around here, i hear this annoying squeaking sound. I have tried to manually reproduce this sound by bouncing the back-end of the car up and down, but nothing. Could it just be because of the colder temperatures we're experiencing right now? It's just annoying, and I don't remember this happening last winter. The car only has 16xxx miles. Probably going to bring it in, it's just a PITA.
Yep my rs5 does it to. I know a lot of the peeps had to take there car in due to the sway bar. I took my in over the weekend and it was the sway bar bushing it was broke. However yesterday my car is still making that same noise your talking about. When there are two people in the car it does not happen. I think becasue the back end can not fully compress back to its full upright position. mine only has 10k on it.

Mine does this, only when cold. It is the sway bar bushings, I have a TRD rear sway with polyurethane bushings so when cold they squeak, not sure why a stock sway would do that, a little lube should clear it right up. A blown strut should be noticeable when going over bumps.

i just scheduled an appointment to be safe, but the tech said that it might be dirt/sand from the road that is caught, and causing it to squeak. i'm not sure if i buy that or not, but i'm hoping it's that or just because it's cold out. i just have a really hard time believing that it's mechanical failure at 16k

i also have the trd rear sway, unsure what bushings were used though. this makes me feel a little better knowing that i'm not the only one at least.
Same issue is happening to mine but i have 50k on my motor. I think my struts are going back only the rear tho kinda sucks. I dont think it would be my rear sway bar since its OEM. But how do i check if it is? Do i look for something crack around the sway bar? see if the rubber bushing is breaking?

Or just turn the radio up for the winter (which is what I do) :D

I had this problem with my 2005 with TRD springs. I never really figured out what the problem was. It was only on the driver's side and only made noise while going slow over speed bumps and such. I always figured it was that the spring wasn't seated properly - but I also put on a TRD sway the same time as the springs. No noise while I was stock.
...I guess this didn't really help at all.

i got the trd sway bar also, but it wouldnt make sense if thats it causing it,your going over speed bumps and thats the job of the shocks or struts, but then again,i could be wrong, but i have about 61k on my 06........and as soon as it got really cold out like high 20's o lower 30's..ive noticed the noise.....guess ill check out my sway bar along with my shocks...
I just dropped the car off this morning, and they called me an hour ago and told me that it is indeed the sway bar bushings. He said that the tech took the sway bar off, greased up the bushings and put it back on, but the noise is still there, just not as bad. They are ordering a new kit that will replace the bad parts for me, and it should be here next week. I just wonder even if this does work, how long will it be squeak-free until it happens again? >.>
this is the receipt i got from the dealer for this problem:
