Exactly. I saw the RS 1.0 tC for the first time today (actual pictures, not artist concepts) and I must say that I'm not at all impressed by it. If I hadn't purchased my tC yet, and given the choice between a normal and an RS, I would take the normal one. There's nothing that stands out about that tC at all. Yes it's bright red, but other than that, nothing stands out. I'm not even a fan of that grille. I like mine much better.

Oh yeah...and if I would have been one to wait for the RS 1.0 tC to buy a tC, I would be so ____ed off right now. It's just not worth it IMO.

I'm reaaaaaally torn.

I waited months for an RS. I knew it was around the corner, was in the market for a tC and now have a perfect opportunity to get one. I wasn't 100% positive this would be red (you never know till you see it for sure) and planned on Indigo Ink Pearl instead. I'm not a fan of red. I dislike the color, it's not the direction I'd planned on going with my car, and it stands out for all the wrong reasons. Lime green or something would've been standout in a good way. This just begs the attention of cops and thieves. I'm not offended by it, but I don't like it.

$18,2? Meh. The rims are above-average, the seats are pleasing as usual and the front grill is pretty rad, but the package itself is a disappointment and definitely not worth the additional $2200. All I gotta say is, you really gotta like red to pick this up. And I'm not diggin.

Still up in the air... I may still go with the RS and let it grow on me, or I may just go ahead with my original plan to get the IIP and call it a day.

I agree. The red looks a bit...not quite tc-ish...it looks too flat.

I'd have put the production badge in a bit more of a conspicuous spot. Maybe just above the radio door and centered between the vent controls. It seems a little tucked away way in the back of the cubby hole...sure to be covered and marred w/ the stuff that folks put in there.

I'm not excited by it. The wheels and grille are nice, but the bright red isn't my thing (I think it looked better on the xA) and nothing on the tC is really special.

Sounds like the "RS Body Kit" is just the regular body kit in red.

That car needs a drop... and big brake kit... and the hot lava color (that might have made me wait).

I like the door sills too. There's gotta be a place to get custom door sills as such. I'd get it the same except instead of saying Release Series, it will have my SN "tchoya"

I like the grill. I think they'd look hot on BSP. I hope they'll let us order those.

you know what the biggest improvement IMO is?? the friggin' rubber they put just below the pedals on the new floor mats.. I'm not kidding you there is a big HOLE in my mat beneath the gas pedal from driving with stilettos .... Cheapest mats I've ever seen!!

looks like they did something right with the floormats...i wonder if theyre going to offer those in a non-Limited-edition option. I'd like to replace my drivers side since the carpet is starting to wear out.

I like the color. The rims would look better with a drop. I think a drop would really bring that car in line!

These 18's weigh the same as the stockers so they shouldnt slow it down.

No kidding about the mats. I wonder if those are under warranty. I wrote to my Scion dealer about the grill. We'll see what she says. (That'll look HOT on my SSM. Then I'll feel better about getting some matching wheels!)

Yea I'm going to post a pic of my mats later.. it's actually quite humorous.. until your heel gets stuck in the damn thing when you're trying to drive. I was at Advance Auto Parts the other day looking for a cheap plastic insert mat but to no avail.. all too extreme (i.e. tazmanian devil on them or Ford logo) or too big.

I think the RS looks decent.. too bad red paint fades after a couple years.. i was really hoping for yellow. And, they should've shelled out a few extra bucks for some new 18's.. not those old Enkei things you've been able to get for the tc for awhile now, they aren't the most flattering thing I've seen on a tc if you know what I mean.
