Release Series badging question...........
Back in November some dickless jacka$$ broke my passenger side window in and the shattered glass cut up various parts of the interior. I had to get the glovebox and the console around the radio replaced, and in doing so, the body shop "misplaced" my RS 2.0 badge with my car's # on it.
Anyone else ever have to contact Scion to get a new badge for their RS??? Should I just go through the dealership, or try to contact Scion directly or what? Any help would be appreciated, my baby doesn't feel complete...

dealer wont help you. at least my dealer didnt. i had some dipsh*t friend leave a small tube of superglue in my cubbie hole, and under the heat of the day it decided to rupture and stick itself directly to my badge. went to the dealer and they said "sorry. its a special RS part with your special number, and is irreplaceable" dunno if it was BS or not, but the guy cecked with several people at the parts and service area and they all said that since its a unique part, it cant be ordered. like, they can order the normal "tC" or "scion logo" badges, but the numbered ones cant be ordered.

The dealer is correct, they can not order the part. However, contact Scion Corp. directly and if you provide them your VIN and supporting documentation of ownership, I'm pretty sure they can get you a replacement. It may take some diligence on your part.
Cheers!
