I'm glad I'm not the only one....I thought it was just cause I don't own a tC that I thought they looked alike.

Not a true statement. The 2.0 SS is supercharged, while the 2.4 SS is not.

the 2.4 is "high output" so they wouldnt have to supercharge it.

even tho the 2.4 has ove 20hp less than the 2.0 s/c. the reason I made my o/g statement is cause there's a guy at meets I go to that has a 2.4 s/c

did the previos year cobalt have a 2.4 version? cause that year i beleive they all were superchargerd, it wasnt until the model year after or so that they came out with non-supercharged cobalts.

2.4 non/sc is new this year. Previous SS was 2.0 s/c only.

Interesting if he does have a s/c on a 2.4 in the cobalt. I don't really keep up on the Cobalts so I have no idea if there are aftermarket s/c kits for those already or not. Anything is possible with enough $$$.

well its just dealer installed then cause the 2.4 doesnt come with a s/c from the factory.

the only cobalt that comes with a factory supercharger is the 2.0 SS supercharged coupe
all the rest are N/A.

at nighttime with the red round brake lights on, this looks like a tc

Btw, anyone ever shoehorn these onto a tc? They look like they would fit an I would prefer something like this over any other options I have seen.

I saw an Altima in traffic tonight and I thought it was a tC till I got within about 4-5 cars of it. It's the round tail lights.

G6 and Cobalt both came out several years after tC was a huge hit. They were copies of tC styling -- who can blame them? Copying success is a path to success, much like Lexus copied Mercedes & BMW.

Several years? Wasn't 2005 the first year for the tC?
