the plastic piece holding the top hose on this canister broke off, this is the canister located under the car by the gas tank has anyone ever had to replace it and how much ??

 

take a pic of the "canister" i dont think anyone will know what u are talking about with what you have posted.

Don't even worry about replacing it unless you live in california. It's an emissions thing anyway, it's only there to catch fuel vapors.

But if you feel compelled to save the environment, I'll look up the part for you... what year tC is yours?

EDIT: 300 bucks from the dealership. Should be the same for all model years. PM me if you need any more info.
