research for digital gauges.
We have the haltec iq line of dash loggers among other products of guages, but what we dont have is a direct plug and play digital gauge cluster. Im going to school for computer programming and for computer egineering later. Im going to try to develop a new product for the tc. A direct plug and play lcd screen gauge cluster that can monitor speed, coolant temp, oil psi, tach, fuel levels, and have all the warning lights and turn signals that the original cluster has but with a few more goodies. You can change color on the fly. Gauge orientation, change what shows on the dash, and have the connections for boost readings. And afr readings with a wideband. No more will you need a bunch of wires and computers to install to have a dash like what the haltec gives you.

Me too. The original gauge cluster is nothing than electronic motor and relays. The sensors for the needles get just a signal from the can bus. Its only all the wires are used to make the new gauge work. You only have a power and a ground for everything to work and the can bus does everything else. All that is need to make it work is a program written up to understand the signals that the can bus is giving out.
