Default reset factory alarm?

Hi all!!!!!

I replaced the battery in my tc last night and now, any time i open a door or start my car, the alarm goes off.

I read in my manual how to reset the power windows, moon roof, etc. but couldn't find anything on resetting the alarm or anything that had to do with this issue. Has anyone experienced this before and does anyone have a solution?

Thanks!

Hey, my buddy had this problem before. And dont quote me, but i believe that the alarm is reset by holding the lock and unlock button at the same time until you hear a beep. Then, unlock and lock the car and it should be good. If this doesn't work sorry man, contact your dealer

thanks for the reply. i gave it a shot...but it didn't work. i was told there may be a dedicated fuse so i am going to try that too for now until i can talk to a service person tomorrow.

unless anyone else who sees this has any other ideas
