how would u go about increasing your rpm limit to 8000 if u wanted to? by getting tuned ? piggyback?

if you only have a cai as stated in your profile then it makes no sense to raise the rev limit since power drops off at around 5500 anyways

Or, buy a Celica GT-S. Depending on year, I think it was anywhere from 7800 to 8200 maximum RPMs.

No!

You will make nothing for power AND blow your engine at that high rpm.

But if you really want 8k RPM and have a lot of money to burn drop in a Mazda 13B.

you would need engine components that are able to withstand 8K RPM......... 2AZ = econo motor, no exotic parts here.
