I just came across this eBay listing for a "2009 Scion tC 5.0 Release"

Either the seller knows nothing about Release Series cars or they purposely made the title misleading in order to try and attract more attention to the auction. :-P

 

Holy crap! That thing has almost 100k miles and they want almost 10.5k for that!

 

WOOOOW!!! Talk about false advertising, I would like to see the SUCKER I mean person who purchases this and actually thinks he or she is really getting an RS5. I wonder if it can be reported to ebay about it cause thats messed up, lol

 

You should be able to report it.

 

e-mailed the guy to remove it. If it's not down later ill report to ebay on it.

It's ebay, so any false advertising on there would not be a surprise. Just look at all the "chips" on Ebay that claim 45 hp increases. It's all just to get the product looked at and hopefully sold.

 

The auction's description has been changed to something a bit more realistic. Now lets just hope no one is foolish enough to pay that much for a car with so many miles.

I guess many want to be an RS 5.0 lol. They have a good ways to go. Still, at the end of the day there's only 2,000 originals, and nothing will change that.
