There's no building a package to the car except for what it comes with. It's either you get all that's with the Release Series or you get the base model and add options. Regarding changing lowering kits, I just want to go lower, and rid of the wheel gap. Nothing wrong with TRD springs, they do their job well, just not enough low for me.

You can add to the rs package at the dealership, its not like they are going to refuse your money.. lol..

If I had me a nice enough camera for pics, tonight has ended with the car on jackstands from a brutal coilover and polyurethane exhaust hanger install(still have 2 more hangers that are a pain to install).

Hi, so I'm looking at a RS5.0 with 10k miles and it has a rebuilt title. Dealer claims only thing he replaced is the side skirt and front and rest fender. I guess the du by who had it fell asleep at the weheek...

I drove it besides the brakes being rusted from seating for awhile the car is fine. He wants 13.5 for it... Tempting for the price but I'm scared of the rebuilt title...

It's number 666 yea kinda scary but judgement day passed lol.

If you have any things I should look at let me know I'm going to buy it tomorrow... Thanks again

I've been using the same car wash detergent for the car for the rims. Was using Meguiars but currently using Turtle Wax ICE car wash. I just use a seperate smaller microfiber towel on the wheels. I seem to find more scratches/rock chips once in a while, that's because of the construction that's been going on and being caught in traffic in it.

Yea theyre a pita to keep clean. What about tires? Anything to get all the dirt off the sidewalls? You can always mask it with armorall but when it dries it's got that brownish shade to it.

Oh and any owners from chicago area? I keep passing an rs 5 in homer glen/lemont/orland park area, but never when I'm in my tc, only when I'm in my audi lol.

Their probably driving yours,

As for the rims i hate them they are such a pain to clean and keep them like that, for the tires i stopped using armor all. I use Meguiar's Tire Shine it doesn't leave none of the residue that armor all leaves.

I've been using Armor All tire gel and it stays glossy, IDK which Armor All you're using. I've picked up a tire spray to try but haven't got around to put it to use, think it's Meguiar's, away from the house at the moment but not sure. The wheels are a pain to clean I agree but I've gotten plenty of compliments on them. I still want to change them up but that's a long ways away though.

I've used the Black Magic tire gel before and all that does is make a mess, yea it stays nice and glossy but when its time to clean that ____ off the tire, whip out the brillo pad. All I use is Meguiar's, stopped using Armor-All all together.

Same here with the compliments on the whole car, now i get even more since i changed the rims last weekend.

Nope I'm content with the drop, i scrape now. Also it looks lower in person my springs settled in differently than the other RS5's I've seen they still sit high. With my old car I was lower and it was bouncy as ____ i don't want to go thru that ____ again and im not that big on coilovers that much either they are a pain in the ___. But if i ever do plan to go lower it'll be an air ride suspension.
