Default Rubber Trim coming off

Hello, new owner of an 08' Scion TC.
A few things to complain about the car but I still love it lol. The rubber trim on the the side of the panel is coming off. Is it important to keep? Lol I tried super glue but that didn't work.
Any suggestions would help!

It's probably there to keep moisture out or possibly cut down on wind noise. Why not check with a Toyota parts center?

I just had the same problem with the trim on my driver's side door. I used some clear RTV silicone on the back of the loose trimming and held it down with some blue painters tape until it's dry.

At this point I would just order new OEM rubber and replace it. Just make sure to get off all the old glue before installing the new rubber.

The "Rubber Trim" in not a Separate Item.

It is part of the Quarter Glass Assembly. Verify with your local dealer. P/N 62710-21210

IMHO, your Best Bet is to as another suggested use Silicone Adhesive Sealant.
Unless you want to replace the entire Quarter Glass Assembly.

Your Choice.
