hmm... i never thought about it being a demo car. then again when i spoke to the woman on the phone, she said "i dont think we're supposed to put those on sale" or something to that extent. i hope that becomes a trend though... in a few months i will get a new car.
they are not supposed to sell the demo, scion won't issue them another. A guy was trying to buy the demo when I picked up my car. After much to-do they finally said no and told him why. I was just standing there when it happened.
yea then the demos go back and it is used as a company car.
Also, you will get your car. Last year I wanted so many cars for my project, 91 Celica GT, 92 Celica GT Conv, 93 Celica GT-S. Then I found my mr2 w/ a dead engine for $900. Needless to say, 1yr 3months and $1200 later, I got a sweet summer sports car!

There is a misconception on what Pure Price really means from the dealer stand point.
Scion forcing dealerships to charge is called Price Fixing. THat is federally illegal.
Pure Price means The dealerships posted and advertised price MUST equal the transaction price for the consumer. We can charge anything we want. But, most , if not all dealerships charge MSRP.
The car you were looking for could have been BRAND new, demo, used, whatever. Or, they were trying to get you into the dealership with clever marketing.

i know its not about a tc, but i just got my xB today and i paid 13945 for it because they were running a sale- they had to honor the price because the fine print on the ad didn't say anything to the effect of "subject to change".
