CONGRATS! :-) What color is it? I'm getting a TC as well. I've already signed the papers for it and everything, now I'm just waiting for it to come in from the Port of Jacksonville. (Florida) It'll be here in about three weeks. I'm so excited!
Did you get any accessories put on it? If so, what kind?
So, this Pure Price thing.... is it true? I'm 22 years old, going to school, living with my father, saving money ya know? :-), and I bought my TC myself. I did sooo much research on this car, it was unbelievable. This site helped me out tremendously, by the way. Well, I was telling my father that I signed for the car and told him about the "Pure Price" thing, and he thought it was just something that the dealer told me so that he wouldn't have to come down on the price. And he didn't believe that the P.P. had any truth to it. I'm just curious... What were some of the final prices that ya'll paid for a brand new TC? I purchased mine in Deerfield Beach, FL. Accessories that I added on were the Blue Light Kit, Silver Sport Pedals, Silver Shift ****, Silver plated "tc" door sill enhancements, and a pedestal spoiler. Final price: $20,335.
congrats. im waiting on mine too. its in port in NJ i believe.
and the whole pure pricing thing...i went a few rounds with the dealership over this, and the way it works is the dealer sets the price on the car and the accessories. Once theyre set, thats how they stay. They take into consideration economic conditions in the area and the likely price that people will be able to swallow. Once that price is set, it doesnt change for anyone at all. The business manager even offered to show me records of what he sold all the other tc's at.
They under contract that if they come down or go up off of the price they set, they can lose their license to sell scions altogether
