Default Saying goodbye to the 2005 SW tC

About two weeks ago a friend of mine bought a MK V GTI. I was very impressed with it and took a trip to the dealer to see the new VW Rabbit/Golf. I have always wanted a VW but was never really impressed with them. This car is very comfortable and even though has a sub $20k pricetag, feels even more solid and quality than the tC. I hope to have the car available in a few weeks as the manual transmission is not an option that many people want.

The tC turns two years old this week. She has been a great car but I am a big guy who now has to be the main driver for his friend... so 2 extra doors and some headroom and legroom are very much needed.

Thank you SL for all the great info and help over the years. I thought about holding out for the new xB.... but the rabbit just appeals much more to me.

what happened w/ the tC? Did you trade it in? Did you receive any type of deal w/ the VW? Congrats to moving to your next car.

Speaking from experience, VWs are notorious for their electrical problems. But if that's what you want, go for it.
