This past sunday I went to pointfest, which is a concert with alternative/rock music. Anyways there was a scion tent there so I decided to stop by and check it out. They had an xB with a sweet paint job and it was decked out, a modded xA, and then a stock tC (lame). So I was talking to the person running the tent and they asked if I drove a scion. I said yeah and showed them my key so I got a pass for a friend and I to get free lunch. This was great because all of the food there is really expensive. I also got a scion key chain and a scion shirt. Anyways, while I was eating my free bbq I filled out my information for a drawing to win a signed posted by all of the band theres. They told me that they were going to give me a call that day but I never heard anything from them. So yesterday I was just hanging out and I got a call from them saying that I won! I went and picked out the poster today and it is HUGE. Well, thats my story and some reasons why I love scion so much.

 

yea.. scion is really dedicated to the whole lifestyle and united thing.. just look at the scion united event. a free fully paid weekend just so that they can take some pics of your car. they reward the scion dedicated and to those that arent in to the whole scion scene they still get a fantastic car

 

They gave free stuff to Scion owners out at the NY Autoshow too. I got a free hat, sweatband and something else I think. Last year they gave out free key chains and some other stuff to everybody.

 

Anything like this going on around NC?

 

Last year at Summer Slam which was a tour of the military bases they gave us a car show and basketball tournament,prizes,money,free backpacks,testdrives,NOS.......and tshirts.......it was really cool.......we are all hoping to have them do it again this summer.....as it was a big hit.

 

I second all this. Back in 06 at the North American International Auto Show, down stairs where they have all the tuners and aftermarket booths, they had a 2nd Scion booth. Me and the guy started talking Scions and he asked if I had my key. Since my car was in Florida, I said no I didn't but he took my word for it and I got an iPod sock (still haven't found a use for that) a beanie, a visor, and a freakin backpack. Scion rocks at giving out free stuff, thats for sure!

 

same thing for the chicago auto show. and for HIN chicago, they gave me lanyards, light up dog tags, and scion chapstick (yeah, thats right) just to hand out

Scion is known for this kinda stuff. I've heard they had a meet up in mid atlantic and peepz were giving out free ipod touches to people... gee only if I could of went!

It was pretty fun. You missed out man. They said that they are going to have another one in the fall though.
