Well.. as I said..

If there are nice enough "savings".. then I'd take it..

as I see it.. there are things missing that I wouldn't miss at all.. the only things that I'd hate losing would be the moonroof.. maybe the steeringwheels w/audio.. and cruise control.. and I'm still not sure if the "Spec" loses keyless entry..

Isn't the whole point of releasing this spec package was for people who want to mod the heck out of it and not for people who just want a cheap ride?

thats what they advertise, but part of the reason is b/c they want to lure more ppl in on sales so they can make more $$$$$!

One thing i've noticed; that cut-out hole in the front bumper? The Spec has two of them. *scratches head*

No it doesn't.. well at least the "official" pictures that can be seen on http://scion.com/tcspec don't show that..

and someone mentioned something about the grille.. I also don't see it any different than the current tC..

the spec isnt a bad choice for people who want to mod their cars and cant afford to buy the regular one and do mods to it. true, its a relatively small difference, but that extra 1k can get you rims/tires or something else ya know... me, i like my regular and wouldnt want a spec, but hey everyone has their own opinion. .02
i just dont like seeing ppl getting bashed because they didnt wanna spend another grand or two of THEIR OWN money. let em make their own decisions

oh, and why didnt i get the new civic si? because i couldnt part ways with that extra amount of cash. i love my tC, i do, but if i had another few grand there would be a civic si in my driveway. its all about tradeoffs

Weird. I was looking at the configurator, by the way.

Totally agree guys.. ragging on the Spec.. it's still a tC.. a few amenities short.. but still..

it's like doggin a xA or an xB.. they're all Scions.. they're all brothers.. with thier pro's and con's.. but still.. all sons of the same mother Toyota.. so let's stop this Scion on Scion crime..
