my g/f doesn't say anything because so long as we can live happily and not from paycheck to paycheck we're fine. Bills always come first, then the savings account (put in 3% of our total monthly earnings into a joint savings account), then everything else is whatever we may need. We both have individual checking accounts so I don't tell her what not to buy and she does the same. Both of us split the bills 50/50.

Well, when I bought the Alphawerks header, I never told my wife, cause she would get VERY mad because I eould be spending money on my car, AGAIN. So when I bought it gave it to my neighbor so he would hide it until I could get to install it. I took it then went to a friends house and installed, then when she saw the old one in the trunk, she didn't knew what it was, so she never asked what it was. Got away with it. LOL

 

 

I go the easy way out I tell my GF about every part I add she thinks its good i have a hobby...................

of course i do tell her they are about half the actual price if that.

i have to hide parts from my dad most of hte time or lie about what they do and when he does find out, which he usually does i have to tell him like 1/4 of the price i paid.. haha

when my car got totalled and im was all cryin and ____ im like damnit 3000 dollars down the drain, he was like WHAT.. 3000!!!! you only told me 800

 

when i got my intake i told my mom it would save mpg, she asked if it made the car faster and i said hmm not sure.
lowering springs i saved up alot for them+install, dad said where didi you get that money i said i saved lmao.

 

oh ya when i got the killer glass sponsorship i didnt want my dad to know.. package came and i didint know, he opned it cuz of the name. and then brought it in the house and left it on the table. when i saw this i was so ____ed i didnt want him to know lol

 

yup.. its funny how i always have money to but parts for my car, yet cant afford to buy a pair of shoes haha.
