I am looking to buy one of these and looknig at possibly a used one. I want the new one that doesnt thro out a CEL. How can you tell the difference between the new one and the old one, the bad one? I want ot make sure its the current new one. Thanks!

I thought it was a legit question. The old intake throws a CEL and the new one doesnt...... Just want to know how I can tell the difference.

 

i think what your considering an intake that throws a CEL would be a. a bad intake install or b. refer to a. the intakes are all the the same if it throws a CEL you prob didnt reset the ECU or got something on the MAS ( mass air sensor )

 

yea it is a legit question, but you want to buy a used one! Thats what I am laughing about, They just fixed the cel problem not even a month ago. So if people are just buying the new version, do you expect to get a used one that throws a cel. The only difrence I thinks was the vacum line on the intake moved. Just buy I new one they work great I love the sound!!!!!

 

Its 2 days old and the user pulled it out, but he backed out on the deal anyway. so meh
