SgtB's tC - Chalkboard Paint, VGL GFX, etc.
Just be sure to do it right. If you simply fill the area with body filler, it will warp, crack and look like crap after a while. You need to fill the area with something solid, then fill remaining gaps with filler.
My $0.02: I don't think it's a 'rat rod' unless it's
1) old
2) loud
3) fast
4) the engine is hanging out!
However, the ratty, 'mad max' look can be done on any vehicle... just takes some skill to apply it to newer cars.

Dizzle, if you want "4x4 Status", go look at a truck, because the tC isn't bad at all with wheel gap or ride height. I'll respond to your question after work today about rice. But for now, raceland coilovers on a DD dropped nearly to the max, pretty ricey.
yo that scion looks sic... and what did you mean by make your own skirts and the PC thing cuz it sound bad ___ haha... hit me up let me know and if your takin orders to make some let me know cuz i wanna get mine lookin sik... I just have performance parts no customizing so i wanna start and who painted it?

And I painted the car myself using Krylon roll-on and rattlecan flat black chalkboard paint.

And the PC thing is just a plan I have to put a little computer in the center console or something and hook it up to a cheap 7" touchscreen monitor that I would mount where my stereo headunit would be. Haven't actually done any work on that yet.
yo does that paint last without fading?? and would you be able to help me do mine ill kick down some cash just let me know how much and ill see whats up, ive been wanting to start on doing me ____ up and tired of spending money on performance for now
It also attracts dirt and tree sap and stuff, and it gets scuffed pretty easily... but all it takes to fix a scuff is a quick spray of chalkboard paint, ahaha.
But man, I tell you, for $40 in materials it looks damn good, hahaha. Just be prepared to have a car that doesn't look OEM, and probably wouldn't hold up in a car show or anything.
(I haven't tried waxing or clearcoating it... that would probably protect the paint, but I haven't done it because I like being able to draw on it.)
Couple updates, I know it's been a while. Snapped a few pics of my dirty-**** car.
Switched to a truck box for more trunk space; put a grill over it so I can just pile crap on it without having to worry about it.

The best thing I've ever done for my sound system is glue these cups on the tweeters. I'll clean them up later.

Painted the top light of my tails...

Again, the stock reverse lights are now my turn signals and those two aux lights on the bumper are now my reverse lights.

Ignore the big bolt stickin out of the spoiler... it's just there to hold it down for now. I'll figure out somethin better later.

Wheel well liners GONE! I'll take out all the fasteners and junk when I get some time.

Bombed through a bush chasin after one of my buddies through a stretch of canyon; might paint over the scratches, might not.
