A good **** is the one for the MK2 supra, it is still available from the dealer. It is kind of expensive (around $80) but i think it is nicer than the TRD version for the tC.

May as well jump in on this, lol!

I have a new in the box Classic Leather ****, the one from Scion. It is a bit to flashy for our tastes, has the crome wire mesh on it.

Let me know if interested

Rick

Thanks for the info. Do all aftermarket shift ***** fit universally to any car?

I have been using a Razo **** for a few months, same issue... i think someone said they went to Home Depot and got a spacer to put in between the ring and ****... I was looking at it, it might work if you could get underneath the boot, but otherwise I dunno.

short shifter?

I have a TWM short shifter with the TRD ****. There was about an 1/8 to a 1/4 inch gap between the bottom of the **** and that chrome-looking plastic piece that holds the shift boot up. I originally got some metal washers from Home Depot and put them _below_ the plastic piece, inside the boot. But that made too much noise (duh), so I got some rubber washers instead, inside diameter 3/8" for a snug fit. (I couldn't find any metric rubber washers) The washers push up the plastic piece, closing the gap. Easy to do since the console around the shift boot comes off easily, without having to undo any screws.
