Default Should I be happy about this?

Haha, nevermind the subject of the post, what you guys say has no influence on my happiness, I just want some feedback.
I ordered a super white tC about a month ago. Now, because of the strings that had to be pulled to get me financed (bad credit, negative equity on a trade) The dealer only has a 30 day window to get me in a tC. However, the only one thats coming in, in 5 speed during that window period is a silver one. Now, i'm not ____ed about it. The silver one is nice. Theirs only one other tC floating around my area and its also a silver
My question is...do you guys/girls think this is a line of ____ to make a quick sale before i change my mind?
Oh, one other question...is their a section on this board for car audio ?

yes. I work for toyota/scion and that 30 day window is a load of bull. The finance company does not say "We can only approve this guy for 30 days" Once your approved your approved. It goes on file that you got approved for that amount and thats it.

The ONLY thing that might change is the interest rate. Interest rates are updated every month so it might go up or it might go down, but your still approved.

Good luck, oh and ps try not to get silver EVERYONE has that color and im gettin sick of seein it

hahaha

I know I know...but i dont knwo why theyd try and yank my chain. I think they meant theyd have to get me in a car in 30 days to keep the rate they gave me the same....and its high too. My credit is effed up and I got about a 5 grand payoff on my current car, which btw, im desperate to get rid of.
I know this doesnt sound like a situation that is within my means, but I just got a huge promotion at work and im making some really good dough now.
I think i might just have to settle for the silver because i NEED to get rid of my current car. Its a 99 cougar and its a virtual money pit! Inspection is almost up on it and Im not spending a dime more on it!

i think your screwed your decision on whats more important

color of car or the "money pit"

find out what they mean when they say that they only have a 30 day window

Like as in, because my credit is so effed and I have so much negative equity that theyll pay off, theyll still finance me, but the business manager had to pull a few strings to get me financed and the bank is only giving them 30 days to get in a car on the terms they outlined. Its a pretty high interest rate, but yet lower then what im payin gon the cougar

the only thing that's going to happen in 30 days is your credit will improve (assuming you pay all your bills on time and don't take out any new credit). tell them to get a life and get back to you when they have the car you want. when i was younger and dumber i fell for that crap too.

haha, well then I guess I better stick to the deal I got. I applied for a line of credit today and got turned down. That has an adverse effect right their. And seriously, it desnt matter if i pay ALL my bills in the next 10 days (the end of the 30 days) My score wont change instantly, I just wont have any open/revolving/negative accounts.
And just how old are you codemunkee? Id watch what I say if I were you. I MAY just be older then you and "dumb" has nothing to do with it. Im looking at my circumstances and the situation surrounding the buy. With the kinda credit i have, Id be lucky to get a gumball financed. Then throw in the trade which has about a 4,800 pay off for them involved...I think they gave me a pretty square deal as far as financing.
I absolutely refuse to make this months payment on my current car and the inspection is up this month.I KNOW if i took it to get inspected, just so I could hold out on waiting for a different color tC, i'd end up shelling out about 600.00 at the VERY least, just to pass it. SO....as you can see....Im kinda stuck in this situation. I need to get rid of my car as much as they need to sell me a car.
Oh well...I like the silver. Seriously...I do...my roomate, who has a black rsx, is pretty jealous about my scion and me getting the silver.

yea, I guess I did. I think its just that i've seen some pretty clean pics of SWTC's so far and im kinda mad now. But honestly. My first choice was the BCP, then the BSP, then the SW and then the Silver.
I got plans for it though. Drop it about 2 inches, coil overs, tint, rims/wheels, etc...after a few show mods, I think i'll look back at this moment of panic and laugh

The thing is that the rate is only good for 30 days. Thats how it was when I was getting APR's, from companies outside toyota, (i.e. capital one, chase, wells fargo, etc.).

Hey, thanks for speaking for me jackass, I happen to care
that he was in Iraq, and he used that to illustrated the point
that no matter how difficult the situation, it's best to stick
with what you want then concede to something easier.

No wonder you are in the box.

ROFL... we must all look at this and place the blame on the right people. Not the dude who made the comment, not the parents of this evil child... the blame shall be placed on his cable company for not screening people like this from getting Internet service.
