You are not in too deep. Like people are saying if you want to get out of this with the least loss sell the car instead of trading it in. I just bought mine used, 5sp silver for 14k. You should be able to get 15k for yours if it is an auto. Gap insurance is to protect you from having to pay money out if your car is stolen or wrecked. The 'gap' is the difference in what the car is worth if totaled out and what you still owe on it. I don't think it applies if you are trading in your car. I'll tell you that if u like drivin a stick it will be worth it. I learned to drive on a manual but had to switch to an auto for 3 years. I missed driving a stick sooooo much and now I'm lovin my manual, it IS just much more fun to drive. Hope you can work it so u get your stick.

GREAT NEWS, my mom's convinced. So instead of trading it in and losing thousands, my mom's gonna take over and have my car since her car is breaking down and she said she needs a new one! Then I'll get a NEW ONE (5 spd). That way we dont lose the money we've put on it and i get what i want. HELL YEA!!

Thats the best solution! Keep it and just buy another! Are you gonna go for a different color to distinguish it from your moms?
