What kind of switchback bulbs did you get? (PIC?) Let me know how they work out! I tried to install a set of those and I guess I screwed the bulb in too hard or something because the bulb socket cut the extra wire when I tightened the bulb down to lock it in place.
I returned the bulbs to the seller through Amazon and got a refund. I guess you get what you pay for too since they were Amazon knock off bulbs lol.

JapanJay:

You think $1500 its a lot to fix my car: meaning fully paint the car to include: a new front bumper, a new back bumper, paint a different hatch white, paint a fender, and to pull out the rear end and fix everything.

I will have to supply the parts. Parts is about 400 shipped for everything I need to include fender liners etc.

Thanks.

@ Cisco_TeamShogun,

First off, sorry to see what your tC1 has gone through bro. I mean, it's really tragic to witness things like that. But I'm glad you're alright and am very glad that you're rebuilding.

Second, totally my bad for not getting back to you on your question. I recently moved from the central valley last July to Huntington Beach for my new job and things have been a roller coaster ever since. I'll answer your question in detail tomorrow evening if you'd like. I'm actually installing new COB DRL's in my RS1 front lip in the morning and then installing a new roof brake light.

Ontop of this all, I TOTALLY forgot you live in PA! I've been back in Frederick, Maryland for training twice this year and will be there again in October. Definitely need to meet up. PM me your digits bro.

Oh, and here's where Aurora sits currently:

Yooo Aurora!

How are you? good to hear from you! hope all is good with the new job.

I'll PM you with my info as well. not trying to clog up this page with man crush posts

You know what makes me smile? that after all this time, the Scion community has some of the best members out of all the forums out there. Very helpful, carying and informative...

and after all these years we all know each others cars, we all give posstive advice and critisim and always motivate each other to do better...

Thank you all.

I say this because on the Mazda3forum i posted a tread for free parts and no one cared...then in the B15u (Sentra SE-R) forum people are just so rude...

THis is the thread on the Mazda Forum:

I'm going to start a "rebuild tread with itemize list of items, cost, repairs, etc so if anyone is in the same boat as me you can get an idea of how much it would cost to fix.

Those tickets are garbage. . Seems like you have a plan of execution with the car. I am making a similar schedule to vet my car completed. Wish thr best with your plans.

Are you fabricating items yourself or u have a list of sponsor to help u with it?

Need some cf parts and fabrications

Also question.

As due to the inpact of the accident the rear section of the moon roof had spider cracks on it.

So im replacing the whole top the entire moon roof. Heard that you cant buy just the rear section

So does any one have any experience with this? To rplace the whole top basically remove head liner unbolt roof and replace or is there more to this?

Thanks.

Hey guys. bought a new roof. being shipped freight.

only question I have is:

has anyone dealt with items being shipped as freight and if so, what type of dimensions was the item package in?

reason I ask is that basically the item is the size of a hood. same thickness and about same width (in a way) but in my head I am thinking that it will be shipped in some weird massive wooden box and or container...

and because i'm sending it to my UPS store location (they were cool with it), the item weights 100 lbs just worry about how they will ship the glass roof in, materials, size of container/box/etc.

what you guys think?

thanks for any advice.

Here's a recent photo of my POS. I bought in May 2005 and now has just under 100K miles. Needs a water pump, fluid flush (coolant, power steering, brake), wheel bearings, and tie rod. I haven't washed it in 4 months LOL.
