Default Side View Mirror problem... >>updated w/ pics

Hey guys,

So a couple weeks ago I was in the parking lot of a local shopping center, when I absent-minded-ly parked next to a truck which had parked HORRIBLY. I should have thought at that moment, "Well, if this person can't park he definately can't back up prorperly" But I didn't.

I left my tC there and when I came back the truck was gone and my Driver's side view mirror was knocked off, hanging by it's wires.

I inspected the damage, and there appeared to be no aesthetic damage. Only damage was done was a minor scratch and the moldings that hold the assembly to the actual door on the inside portion where knocked out.

Now, my question to all my fellow tC owners here is this.

Do you think it's possible to find a shop that will be able to attach this, what I believe to be, salvagable assembly back onto my door?

Or should I just go out and buy whole'nother assembly and get that attached?

Here are some pics of the damage.

A shot of the whole assembly.

A shot of the Door side with the screws, you can still see some plastic from the assembly.

Pic of the Assembly where the screws where originally housed.

+1

You can try to hold it with some tape and longer screws, but in the end it will never be the same. Sorry man.
