Sideview mirror tints
I used to have a Jetta that had a nice tint on its sideview mirrors... it helped A LOT when cars were behind me, and I had to look thru my side mirrors to change lanes...
So do you think I can go to a tint shop and just have them place a small tint on each of my sideview mirrors? Would this cause trouble driving at night? During the day? During the rain? What percent should I go for?

you know volvos have this nice light blue tint on the side view mirrors...but then again they might just be colored glass...chemical maybe...but wouldnt it be affected by the fact that there would just be too much water on it being outside?

I used to work at a tint shop, and I don't know if or how the tint would stand up to the elements (Snow, Rain, Ice). Tint isn't made for the outside of the car. I know it would scratch very easily and I'am sure it would peel...

Blue tint on VW/BMW mirrors is cool. There are transparent vinyls that are for outside applications - I will ask the guy who made my sidemarker overlays if he can get a light-blue tint and if it would work for the mirrors...
