Default Signing the papers today for a Scion TC black cherry auto :)

Any advice for a first time car buyer? I'm signing the papers today on the Scion TC black cherry auto. I'm only getting the custom two tone leather seats - maroon and black and nothing else right now. I'm planning on buying the additional stuff offered as I can afford them. Thanks!

Yeah I got advice. Post pics of your leather seats. I got black leather with Suede inserts, but I'd like to see your two-tone seats.

Also, your signature. You love your tC and haven't signed the papers yet? j/k with you.

I love it because I've test driven it over 40 times. I had it for an hour during one test drive (the salesman was in the car with me) and let me put the pedal to the metal - to push it and see its limits. I've also read all kinds of positive reviews on it - and love it because it's a new car!!! Anything has to be better than my junky 1992 157K bimmer!! I will be losing horsepower though - 198 on the bimmer.

Everything went smoothly last night! APR 5.24% $9K down Low monthly payments the kindest salespeople I've ever met!! I drove it to work today and half the building came out just to see it - kind of creepy cool! I don't know how to drive a manual else I would have gotten one of those instead - CHEAPER! I don't think I have the hand - eye coordination for one. I think the final price was $20K after all was said and done. I've decided not to get rid of the BMW 325i - I'm just going to soup it up and make it a toy car. I found out that the insurance on this Scion is going to cost me $9 less than the BMW!! Super Sweet!!

I'm meeting with a custom leather company to do the two tone leather thing later this week. I'm thinking burgundy and black leather . . . I don't know yet - still deciding. Any ideas?

Anyways, thanks for the congrats - and I understand the heckling about the manual - my fiance talked to me until he was blue in the face trying to convince me to get one. Maybe someday . . .

heh, sell the bimmer, you can probably get 5-7k for it, and buy a REAL toy. something mid-90s, fast, 5sp, so you can first learn stick on it and then mod the hell out of it. lot more fun than some old auto bimmer.

Sounds like a good idea - but the fiance doesn't want to part with it. I learned how to drive on it and he says it has "sentimental value." I'm going to try to talk him into selling it and getting something else - I told him he could buy whatever he wanted - which would probably be a sports car with manual. He drives a Mazda Miata M edition right now and really likes it. He says it's a cheap sports car. It handles well - he scares me to death going 60 on 25 mile an hour curves! He even got it airborne once and I thought we'd total it when we hit the road on the other side - but it held it's own. I'm wanting to learn how to drive it - I probably will this summer.
