BTW, I never wanted to pay for my floor mats! I wouldn't even complain and have them replaced if they didn't cost me over $100!!! You'd think they would be "high quality"...
today a chunk came out where my right heel is, I think what i am gonna do is, take out the carpet park, and cut out a template and sew/glue in a footmat like the RS1.0 now has....should be simple enuf...
My floor mats only have one worn out area...
Do you really think the dealership will replace them for me?...
..ps gum might come out if you use peanut butter
Peanut butter rocks!!!
it works on
Over Spray (painting wise)
Tar from new roads
Gum on clothes/carpets/hair
and probably more....
have anice day

I heard the dealership will only replace them if they were an option on the car when you purchased it... but would NOT replace it if you bought them after the fact. I purchased mine from the dealership after I purchased the car... and its only like 2 months old maybe, less than 2000miles on em and the drivers side is starting to show wear.
The dealers have replaced the mats in the xBs or xAs (or maybe both) in the past because they were wearing out too quickly. I see no reason why they wouldn't do the same for the tC. Honestly, I'd be happy if they just replaced the carpeted part in the driver's mat, since that's the only place I have wear. I plan on making an appointment tomorrow to have a number of things on my car fixed (roof rattle, loose shifter, other odds-n-ends) and I'll have them address the mats as well.
It would be nice if the mats in the future all had the heel insert like the RS 1.0 mats do.

its whack that it wears out so quick... man i've drove about 20,800 miles../ and the mats be lookin tore up... with all the shiftin and restin... its like a aftermath of a war on my carpet... shedding faster than a friggin snake fur damn sure....
scion better replace these cheapo mats... how will it look if i removed just the carpet part and left just the rubber...nasty!
