Scion will NOT replace them after X amount of miles(like 3000)... That's absurd and if they do, they were doing you a favor.

So where did you get your floor mats from? Are they tC or for another Scion? Pics?

Yes! I bought some b/c I didn't want to pay so much for the stock mats. They look great and I get a lot of compliments on them. I also fabricated door sills out of the same material. looks very professional. However, I would suggest carpet mats for long trips because they are more comfortable.

Bought my car with the mats in it and within 2k they were already shredding. They WERE replaced at 6k when I finally got too it, and I plan on doing it as many times as possible....until warranty runs out. How exactly are they doing us a favor? Paying $140 for 2 "special" mats is absurd....

Took my car to Newark Scionworld today for some warranty work (hand brake pulls too far, roof rattling, squeaky brake pedal) I had two spots on the driver's mat that were worn through to the rubber backing on the carpet insert. I have 11,000+ miles on my car, and had the carpet inserts out of the car for maybe 4 months. They replaced at least the front mats, if not all four (can't really tell if the back ones are new, my old ones still looked new to begin with.) They forgot the little clips on the driver's mat so I have to stop back and pick them up sometime.

If your mat is wearing out, talk to your dealer and see what they can do.

At my 15k mile service they had to adjust parking brake lever. My mats were replaced with 20K miles on car. Covered under warentee if you bought them with car.

Well they are doing you a favor for covering them Over the warranty. Becuase they are not covered by warranty.

If they are, please show me where it states this. Because I will go in there and present it to the GM.

Well, sucks to be you then, buddy....or sucks you bought it at that dealership. I called the dealership, told them my problem and the guy said - "That's not right. If you spent the extra money for the floormats in ther car, they ARE covered under the warranty."

Doesn't sound like a favor to me......seeing as how I paid EXTRA.....

But hey, you can dissagree all you want....I got warrantied mats and you didn't.

13.5k and no issues with mine. I do take out the carpet when it is snowing and I am driving it... but that is rare since I drive the other car in bad weather.

So did you steal them then, pal? I don't understand what you're _____ing about then..... I've said twice now, if you bought them in the car, as an additional part, they will replace them under warranty. If not, like I said also, sucks to be you.....

And I never asked you what tone you wanted a reply in....

That must be it ......lol.....

$145 mats just came with the car? Lucky you. So, again, what are you crying about? I PAID for them and get them REPLACED under WARRANTY. Sorry about the cap locks, but I wanted those key words to stand out too you. Don't want you get confused for the third time.

It's not a favor......it's called a warranty on overpriced mats that fall apart too fast. It's that simple, for most of us......

All I asked was to see where this is specifically covered.
Which leads me to believe your dealership is doing you a favor by replacing them

We could argue for days, so call it what you want. 3 different people from 2 dealerships telling me that they are covered under warranty would seems to be just that.

But anyways, hope you enjoy your mats.....

Oh yea they are a vacation.
Maybe I will take them out on my boat and enjoy them even more or take them to see Episode 3... that would be enjoyable!
