Who else in the east is getting pounded by this noreaster. In PA we have around 6" so far and it's supposed to go all night. I just finished digging out the saturn, the tc is tucked in to it's right. Winter beater ftw

Had right at a foot of snow here in asheville, nc. Would post a pic but can't figure out to to make the file size small enough to upload

 

We got the storms a week or so ago but only got about another 4 inches or so here. So not as bad as you are getting them on the east coast.

And my 96 Saturn is my winter car as well That thing is reliable, economic and could care less if there is snow on the road.. it just drives through it Not to mention it has much less to rust with a mostly plastic body!

im on the eastern part of LI..were suppoe to get 18 inches of snow...but i put my tc away for the winter......my stock tires dont do well at all in the snow anyway and too many crazy people out there driving to fast and and skidding all around the street the last thing i need is my tc i work on to get damged

 

In Virginia Beach we've gotten nothing but rain.... supposedly its going to snow overnight. I'll believe it when it happens. Which I honestly doubt it will.

 

So glad I moved from PA to AZ 2.5 years ago!

awww you poor newbies with snow. here in michigan, we're used to it. Welcome to winter.. lol actually we send you the snow from the midwest and say "Merry Christmas" sometimes we're sick of it too.

Just remember the snow isn't what causes the accidents.. snow actually has traction, it's the ICE underneath I cannot stand. slide slide, while abs is going nuts. so much for technology lol

 

exactly its the ice underneathe the snow plus cold temperatures....and if you dont have good tires youll be all over the place.....im on stock tires and they suck even in the snow....but im sure most scion owners on here arent runnig on stockies

 

Instead of the first mod being lowering it should be tires. All the stock tires on the tC have sucked major!

OMG... I'll eat my words... VB has a dusting.. Still aint nothing compared to the lake effect stuff I grew up with in Ohio. I'm sure every idiot in a 100 mile radius is out driving in this stuff.
