Do not mess with the Smartzuki, it will kick your butt.

http://www.smartuki.com/

It can also be turbo'd

If you guys don't like getting revved on, get a 1gen xB. Then all you have to worry about are UPS trucks and bread delivery vans.

Man thats gonna be a quick little thing....

its kinda funny that most people here on SL look down on street racing so much, because its pretty huge here. Just about everyone runs each other on Woodward on friday and saturday night. honestly its straight up fast and the furious on some nights. I never race and people honestly give me isht for not doing so. The contrast in opinion is just really funny.

Yea, i've never gotten that either, maybe MN is just different. I don't know what it is, but i'm glad. Also, i'm in an xB, so maybe that helps

(the cars the mustang was built to compete with) They'll get blown away by them so they need to race a 4 cylinder to make themselves feel good. It's really quite sad!

what if that smart car has a busa motor in it ?

lol......then it might be a different story

I agree, Im apart of many different forums and scionlife is by far the most **** against street racing, especially when almost everyone on this forum is probably guilty of a highway pull or a stoplight drag at some point in time. Its almost like everyone on this site throws on a front when they get on here so they dont get flamed for not flaming other people for racing. Mentioning SR on SL is like showering in gasoline and waiting for other members on here to strike a match. I in no way condone SR I am just stating what I observe. I am with batman, alot of people do it where Im from but I choose to take it to the track but constantly get some kind of comment about not racing. Racing at the track requires so much more skill then a 40 roll down I-95 and in a controlled environment. I have friends who think they are amazing drivers because they drive like a bat outta hell on the streets but when I take my slow car, run a better time while traping a lower speed then them they never seem to have anything to say. It is interesting to see the contrast in different automotive community's cultures

yeah its really strange. Even most of the shop owners are okay with it. This is really surprising since it gives auto enthusiasts a bad name with the po and the general public but they don't seem to care :-/

im not going to lie or hide it. I am big into street racing and have raced past cars. but it all depends on how you do it also and were you go. we usually meet up at a starbuck/ hastings book store( huge parking lott) . everyone hangs out and on most weekends there are over 100 cars and a lot of people. its a big gathering but no one does anything to earn a bad rep. most show up get something to drink or eat and hang out with friends and bull ____ with other car owners and answer questions bout your set up and what not and just learn what every one is running, this is also were people choose who they want to run. we than choose a location and only the ones that are into racing go and the rest take off and do their own thing. the ones that go out racing usually go out to farm roads and everyone parks behind them. i have been going out and watching street racing since i was 15 and have continued on till this day. i dont go much more now adays since im more into auto x and i rarely ever drive the tc. everyone understands the risks when they line up against eachoter or even to go out to the racing locations. everyone understands the risks that are associated with the police. flame on me for doing so but i come from a small town that is dedicated more to golfing than anything else. kids my age get drunk and high every weekend. i gave all that up fo my education so street racing is my anti drug. ( oh and the nearest track is a few hours away and its not worth the drive to be treated unfairly and only run a few times since the v8 domestic guys have to tune their cars in. )

I applaud you for not racing.

& just an FYI, I've spent close to 30k on mods for my car & don't have HIDs. Does that mean I'm stock?! lololol.

I couldnt agree more.... that's what tracks/drag strips are there for.
For one, its a safe secure environment...no chance of wiping out and hitting a bus load of nuns or something...
And secondly... if you race on the track there's no possible chance of losing your license. I've heard stories of just how bad it can be if you're caught and charged with street racing. Besides losing your license on the spot...you'll get slapped with monster sized fines.
