I personally don't see a ton of harm in a highway pull between two friends, but still its not a great idea. Everytime I have ever done it we shut down at 90 or the top of third gear. Also if one does do this, do it in a remote location not in a ton of traffic . But yea having done autocrosses and going to the drag strip, street racing just seems bogus. Cause you can't really go ***** out on the street....and if you do, A) your retarded B)you'll prolly end up like me and put a tC through a fence. Last week after class I was driving through random mountain roads here at tech spiritedly but nowhere near all out, and I came around a corner to have 2 cyclists going opposite directions and directly across the road from one another. And like a mile later there was a dog around a blind corner....I was SO GLAD i wasn't driving fast. There is too much uncertainty on the street. Its prolly not the best idea to go on cruises, but sometimes i need to just go clear my head and I try to keep it safe.

And screw toolbags that continue to mess with you when you have expressed that you don't have any interest in racing them.

Thank you. The 30K has been over the course of 3 years though. I work full time (55 hours a week) to support my child (the tC) & she's definitely grown up. Apparently I drop about 10k a year.

I was at this stop over where I live. There is this huge dip in the road. This guy in this slammed civic hatch reved on me. I smirked and reved back knowing this ditch was feet away from us. He floored it as did I and I slamed on my breaks and rolled slow over the dip. The boy in the civic slammed so hard and ____ came off from under his car. I couldnt stop laughing. Thats what he gets for trying to race on the streets.

Do yall not get a kick out of dropping down a gear when some loud A** 4 cyl pulls up next to u and act like ur about to take off and punch it one good time then watch them waste their gas as they race off into the sunset while you sit back and laugh or am i the only one?

haha i swear u must drive around where i live. no joke there was a grey wrx the decides to pull up next to me at rush hour and for some reason thought it was cool to punch it real quick but everytime he would slam on brakes so he wouldnt rear end the car in front of him. he did this bout 5 or 6 times in a 2 mile strech on a busy hwy. hahaha was that u green?

 

Ha ha sounds like something I did a while back but it was because this dude was doing 50 in a 65 and would speed up when ever I would try to pass him. LOL
