Default so what do you think...

about a 2ZZ-GE swap sourced from the lotus elise. It would have the same redline as the corolla XRS with the addition of ten extra horses. I know what everyone is thinking. Not another swap thread but I am seriously entertaining the idea. the 2zz is a 1.8L and should fit in our engine bay rather easily. what do ya think :?:

Hmmmmmmmmmm... I knew that engine swap posts were gettin a lil old but still. I expected a lot more input into this topic seeing how there is a relatively good engine platform that should fit easily (notice the SHOULD) into our box.

i haven't seen pics of it being done, but people have talked about one that has been done. it will fit with some extra work and cutting and a lot of fabrication. there are other engine swaps that would be better, but people have a thing for the 2zz for all the horsepower. the thing is though that is lacks torque. go for something from the mkI mr2.
