Webster Unabridged Dictionary

Main entry: car
1: a vehicle moving on wheels

A car is meant for driving; it isn't a classic car, it is a car, mode of transportation. Gas that sucker up and go. I hate when people look at a odometer and say wow that's a lot of miles, well damnit that's what its for. You want to pay $300+ a month for something just to walk outside or in the garage, see it and hop on your bicycle.....sometimes I just don't understand it.

Ah, so it wasn't necessarily the engine itself... but the s/c, mostly.

yeah our cars have pretty decent engines. no problems watsoever, BUT when u add boost to the equation that's when they go bad. but that's the case with any car, adding a turbo to a car that doesn't come with it will obviously cause a massive headache cause ur adding it to an application that doesn't come with it at first.

That's how I explain it out here in the country where people have never heard of Scion. a 2-door Camry and those dang Camry's last a lifetime.

Tuning is usually a good place to start when pointing fingers. Other than that there's your defects here and there, but the driver also may have a lot to do with it also. But all in all i love my Tc and will never get rid of it, plus I'd lose out on tons of money if i did so sell it.
