Default Someone tell me how to remove the back seat on a tC

How do I remove the rear seat cusion on my tC without ripping it? Pictures, or a link would be great. I just need to know where its heald down, and how easy it is to put back on. Im trying to run some wires (for that reason, I need to remove the rear seats)
I tried searching for a while... 500some odd results, with nothing really relative...

put your hands on the edge of the cushion. (like where your knees would be if you were seated). get a good grip, and yank up.

no tricks. just yank. there are two or three tabs across.

to put back: all you have to do is put the seat belt buckles back through the slots, and jam down to put the tabs back in their clips.

easy

tCtech has got it....just put your hand under the seat (in the middle of the right and left seat position) and yank up. when both are loose just lift up and out. Are you trying to get to the rear speakers?

I had the same problem as you did. My cushion was a PITA to get off. What I did was remove the back part of the seat first. Grab it from behind and you will see like a U shaped rod covered with foam. Pull the cushion back so the rods are past the horizontal bar and out freely, do this to both sides. When you get both sides pulled out, next pull the cushion straight up by those rods and the front clips should pop free. Much easier I think.
