Im live here in the Great State of Texas and just cant wait for the TC. I have always driven American cars but a funny thing all these American cars I drive seem to be made in Mexico or Canada now so my thinking is ill buy from a company "Toyota the Scion Owners" who actually make a decent amount of there cars in America now. I know that was a long intro so ill get to the point I want a TC but I want to know if there will be a Special Edition like the RS1 my buddy got a RS1 and I think its a great investment it will prolly carry a better resale value. So has anyone heard about a Special Edition for the TC and does anyone know when you will be able to order these in Texas.

 

As of right now there's no plans announced for a special edition tC. Who knows what the future may hold.

 

the clostest thing we have to special edtion scions around here is ones that have been given to local stereo shops, and i kno the one in annapolis i think will let u finance any kind of stereo equip and stuff you get done, just like its a regular option meaning it just gets tacked on to the dealership price...or atleast i think that my understanding of it

 

it will eventually happen, but it will just depend on when they want to release one.

 

not nessicarily, the civic which is similar in class and style never really had a special edition, the closest thing was the SI which isn't really limted to a single year or anything. so comparitivley scion has the s/c tC which easily beats that stock soo...who knos

 

yeah, but the civic is a honda and the tC is a Scion. There will be a limited edition. Its just a matter of when. Could be this year, could be next year? who knows!!

 

Let me guess, a limited tC with hot lava paint job, orange highlighted interior, billet grille, Pioneer AM/FM?6-CD changer w/ 10-color change illumination, individually numbered release series badge, orange engine bay strut tie bar and rear spoiler, orange underseat, underdash, and cupholder lighting, and optional AEM cold air intake, right?

 

^^^ a different color would be nice. some kind of red would be awesome.
