Default Sponsorship, should we take it or not?

Well, me and my bro have a partial sponsorship with Rotora, but I have yet to accept it. They will give me a HUGE discount on the BBK for the front, the two piece one, and will give me a discount for the rear rotor swap and pad swap.

The problem is, is that we have done everything ourselves, with no one's help and has been done through our earnings, no help from anyone whatsoever. With that in mind, should we accept this sponsorship? Let me know.

If you don't need it, don't take it. No reason to put unnecessary stickers on your car.

I voted no, only because when I modify cars, I want to know that my money, sweat, and blood went into what I created, without the help of a sponsorship. Guess it's a pride thing, but I don't mind putting my money into the car, I mean thats what were here for right? When its all done, I want to look at my car and know that it was me and only me doin it.

Voted Yes

Sponsorships are only offored to people who have proven to have a show worthy vehicle. The reward for all the hard work of you and your brother is this sponsorship and any future oportunities. This is what many people work for, to get to the point where companies want to form relationships based on your work, ideas, taste, and skills.

I understand why people say yes and why people say no. Any more opinions?

The one crappy thing is I have to place two 16" decals on the sides of the car and two 12" decals on the front bumper.

Here are the pics:

I would conter offer with them and tell them they only get two stickers insteed of 4. If they say no, then its there loss, and they will really be loosing if they dont get you guys.

yea counter the offer like whocares says, its their loss since very few tc's have what it takes to be offered a sponsorship, people beg for them.. Maybe you can go down with the decal sizes or if they offer 100% sponsorship why not, and how long are you suppose to have those stickers, maybe a short time can be dealt with.

You cant counter with companies like that. They so many cars all the time that you are one of many fish in the sea. LOL

Take if you want help if you are cool and dont need help then dont. Choice should be easy to make.

Yup they've done a lot on their own, so no reason for them not to turn down or at least make an counter offer to settle somewhere. If that offer is firm as is then No would be my easy answer.

Do you and your brother really have matching cars?

Do you get ____ed if one wins at a show and the other doesn't?

No, we support each other. Plus, we share everything so if one of us were to win, the other would split with the one who didn't win....if that makes sense

Im gonna say that with the way your cars look, calling them "show worthy" is an insult. They'd be lucky to get their parts on your car and a sticker. They should cater to you. Not the other way around.

Agreed. Those cars look clean as hell, and putting huge, gaudy stickers on them would actually make them look worse. You should accept, but tell them that you need to come to a compromise on the stickers, because the sizes that they're giving you would ruin the otherwise show-worthy car. Tell them where YOU want their stickers to go on YOUR car, and what sizes YOU want... and start bargaining from there.

Thank you all for the kind words. And yes, me and my brother are twins. You guys are right, I don't want 4 decals on my car for the duration of a year, that is too long of a time for a discount on a BBK. Now, if they gave it free, I would be a little more understanding, but they are only giving us a 600 dollar discount on the brakes.....what to do...
