have you noticed that you can place the word "****" in front of many of the Ford vehicle names and make them sound completely sick? Ranger, Probe, Escape, Navigator (a Lincoln, but close enough for this exercise)

Don't forget Escort, Explorer, and Expedition!

And if you are willing to go to GM cars, theres the Ram, the Impact, the Avenger...

Ok, I'll stop now.

Wow do we seriously wanna get into Corportae ARguments, about the structures of buisness..

its obvious scion is a part of toyota, thats why i said it'd be ok to switch symbols and to add to that the engine has toyota on it it, i didnt say that was the defining reason.

personally and IMHO, scion is a nub company so i usually tell people my car is essentially a toyota cuz people know that name more. i dont wanna see why u'd seem so defensive against the idea of saying u essentially own a toyota, i'd go with a name i can trust for quality and reliabilty and Scion just doesnt have a reputation because its new. but if u tell people its a toyota they have a general idea of the product you bought. who the F*ck would say they have a dodge-mitsubishi, mitsubishi has no corporate hold with dodge, it matters not who borrows parts from who, but toyota is the parent company of scion, they just use a separate company name to differentiate their products to specfically designed markets... corporate america, did u know theres only a handful of movie companies (my buisness) so many of the horror movies u see from Dimension films or Miramax Films or Touchstone Films are "Disney" movies...same thing with basically every other corporate conglomerate, i'd just rather use a better name (more well renowned rather) than talk about some car company that many people have heard nothing about or anyone like me for example ONLY think of the DAMN BOX when they hear the name scion, which by the way is not that stylish lookin of a car, its a goddamn box on wheels, while the TC is actually a sporty car which would make sense for our target market, and look what u've done, set me off - i need to STFU

Wow, especially since I was just joking around with you.
I kind of like having a car that other people don't really know about. It gets people talking to me and asking me questions.

Seems like you are the one taking this seriously! If this little light-hearted coversation sets you off, I would hate to see you deal with anything remotely stressful! Calm down just a bit. Smoke/drink/take something and relax And as for the dodge/mistu comment, I was reffering to the idea of calling a scion a toyota because it has a toyota motor (someone mentioned that if you read the other posts). If you know your cars at all, you will know that dodge and mitsubishi share the same engine in MANY of their cars. A prime example is the Stealth/3000GT/Caravan. Same motor. So calm down a bit. I am not defensive at all about my car being part of the toyota family, that is one of its big selling points. But at the same time, it is in some respects a different brand name. You are taking a bunch of statements out of context and making up your own argument (getting all worked up over it in the process for some weird reason). Like I said, I could care less what people do to their own cars. I would personally rather have no badge at all on it.
