Default SRT-4 exhaust crackle / pop sound?

Hey, don't yell at me for not seraching, I did and couldnt find anything!

SRT-4's and some other cars have this distinct poping sound when the engine revs down (when you down shift), our tC's do it a little bit with an aftermarket exhaust, but nothing like the SRT-4's. Even my old GMC Jimmy's 4.3 v6 would crackle if i dropped it down a gear when slowing down. Can anyone explain why some cars do it and some dont? And what causes that sound? I know that they say turbo's increas the poping but.. why did my truck do it so much N/A?

Next - how do i make my tC do it?

I have a full 2.5" straight pipe catback with an 170mm HKS Carbon Ti and have a lot of back pressure, so i get the "popping" sound
