Default Stafford Fabrication xB Turbo kit

I've been sponsed by a company that is making my turbo kit as we speak, and it should be done but the end of next week for Hot Import Nights (San Mateo). The kit includes turbo, manifold, fuel system, piping, intercooler, ecu mangement, bov, and a few other things. This is a direct bolt up kit to the stock exhaust, and no faking the funk, it will be dyno'd... and there are saying nothing less than 50% more power to the wheels, and for all you racers he can get even wilder. He has turbo'd some sick cars and the made mad boost & power... He does alot of Celica's so I said what the heck!!! If you want to check them out at www.staffordfabrication.com. :D

I suggest you send a message to 2001rolla and ask him what happened to his corolla. In a 2 month period, he got rid of their kit

This is from his cardomain page

Stafford Fabrications Joke of a Turbo Kit 02/03/04

I got all the piping back from Stafford and got the little rubber plug that was supposed to be with the kit in the first place that covers up the breather running from the valve cover to the intake. The entire time i've had the kit on i've been charging up the block. This basically pressurised the entire block pushing oil out any possible opening. Had I drivent he car any more than I did I could have blown out the oil seals in my engine as well as the turbo. This is more what it will look like when completed. I still have to drive out to Lancaster to have the car tuned and the billet aluminum fuel rail installed.

POS SF Turbo Kit Sold 03/28/04

I got rid of the piece of crap SF sold me... The kit from day one was a joke and never worked right from the beginning. The problems are far too numerous to list here but believe me when I say this... I will never, ever tell anyone to go to SF or anyone that has anything to do with them at all. Instead, I am going to build my own turbo kit for my car. I have all the resources sorted out and will be jumping in as soon as I have a welder that's up to the task. A Miller 135 Mig welder should do the trick. Now to wait for that nice fat tax return...

If you listen to just one thing I have to say on this board it's this...

"Stay the hell away from Stafford Fabrication"

Did you know that ELProtoypes is building a turbo kit and actually has one already done up and running reliably on an xA? Give them a call and do up your car the right way the first time. I'm not going to go into all the details here but believe me when I tell you. I waisted 3400+ on a turbo kit that did nothing more than damage my motor.

Hmm thats odd i have over 65000 miles on my matrix, and it has been boosted since 25k. And yes this with the SF turbo kit, in fact it was a prototype one. Go figure

Sf also recently has one of the highest powered 2zz turbo celicas.

http://newcelica.org/forums/showthre...hreadid=130799

2001rolla is your 1zz any different than the newer ones?

I guess we will just have to see how the scion kit comes out. If the kit is no good it wont sell if it is it will. Its simple

If this is Nick w/ the white Matrix, I can verify what's been typed here. I met Nick last year at HIN San Mateo thru the matrixowners.com forum.

Default Turbo kit done easy as 1, 2, 3!

I was building my own kit, like I did the white xB. But I wanted this kit to work right and not half A$$! I can do the welding but Stafford Fabractions has the only working fuel system, plus the guy is one hell of a welder too! So we got togeter and said why not do a full xB kit for everyone to have, not just me. Also for the corolla guy, your bad luck! Next time buy something you can install. Don't stick your hand in the gatorz mouth and think it's not gonna be bit off!!! Well to the rest of the scion world well have this kit running by Hot Import Nights(San Meteo) 4/23/04 and I'll let everyone know how it felt on the drive up from Plamdale! That's right, no tralier queen, DAILY DRIVER

WTF?

You have no idea what you are talking about so keep your stupid mouth shut. coming on here and bad mouthing me just shows what a little _____ you are. You have no clue as to the problems I went through with stafford and if you even believe a word of what he says you are dumber than you appear on this board. Maybe if you read the Matrix, Corolla and 7th gen civic boards you might have a clue.

I hate to break it to you but staffords fuel system is at the bottom of the barral when it comes to fuel systems.

 BWAHAHAHHAAH...

no one believes in the kit i've been trying to get produced...and they have 13+ years experience with turbos.. yet people have faith in a company that has a bad rap..

Either way.. good luck with it let us know how it goes!

Hey this thing is out of control, and I'm not a bad guy! Just that 2001rolla has a personal problem with this company and came at me wrong! And that's not cool, I'm a paying customer to this company, and it's all out of my pocket. Just the labor is getting done! 2nd of all that guy must not own a scion with a name like 2001rolla, and yes JEFF you need to contact Stafford and take this up with him and not me! Also I'm no punk kid, so don't go out on a limb! Please bare with me people I'm new at this internet trash talk stuff and I don't like anyone trying to tell me or say anything to me like their my Popz! Put yourself in my shoez and see what way you would have reacted!

You need to check back and read because nowhere in my replies to this thread did I ever bad mouth you even once. You really need to think about why you have so much anger and aggression and take a moment and look at yourself because absolutely everything you have said on this thread has done nothing but make YOU look like a little _____.

Long story short you are promoting for a company. You should keep your opinions to yourself bro. The aftermarket world is small very small other companys see this no one is gonna want to deal with you. I take respect in what goes onto my car and the work that is done if I feel like someone has a bad product I dont put it in my car, if they do have a good product I tell people what I honestly think about it and how they can benefit.

Aggin you have no idea what went on with rolla as neither do I. I dont think it is your place or mine to butt in to staffords business who is not to say something wasnt defective right from stafford? Who knows? You didnt build the kit and neither did I.

Stay positive and promote what you know, not flame what you dont. This will get you alot further if your looking for more sponsors or referal customers to products you already have.

Anyhow we worked on the kit some more last night, and the manifold, intercooler, piping, mass air, and bov are done. The piping is now getting powder coated. I will post pics and more updates ASAP!

If anyone has any questions, feel free to email me.

And please, stop the fighting and let the kit speak for itself. That goes for all parties involved.
