your tC will really pull a 5.9 0-60? That's FAST what mods do you have? I think stock is 7.4 for a 5 speed...

Default Actual Dyno tested top speed...

Actually the top speed registered on my dyno was 129 before the limiter kicked in. Not a big difference but something to be noted.

Also at the wheels for my stock 5M 143.3 HP / 155.3 FT-LB. Will update after each modification.

Wind resistance has nothing to do with electronic speed limiter. Gearing allows for around 138.4mph @ 6200 in 5th, and 127/129 is @ 5700rpm in 5th.

Auto tC might be capable of higher top speeds if not for the limiter.

Default Ok... real world...

Ok since we want to say real world vs dyno... down hill on the 73 toll road. Top speed somewhere between 135 and 138MPH. Was too busy making sure I stayed on the road to get exacts (not exactly a straight downhill shot, a bit of a curve there). Stupid?? YES!! But at 3am with no traffic around. Nobody to hurt but myself and just really wanted to see what I could push it to.

my next question is do you really think it speed limited or is that the extent of what the horsepower can do ???

Default speed...

Not for sure on this but it is my best guess. It is probably like all the other toyota's I have owned where the ecu manages it by the transmissions RPM in Final drive. In my previous 4runner there was actually an aftermarket part that was made to allow the vehicle to go past this limit. I don't think its the HP because just like in my previous 4runner... when I do hit the limiter... I can tell I still have power left that is not being utilized while in final drive gear.
