Steering Wheel Alignment
I recently had to avoid a car pulling out in front of me and curb checked my right rim.. Afterwards I noticed that the steering wheel sat about an ~10 degrees to the right.. I took it to the dealership and they told me that the alignment was probably out and they would take care of it.. They fixed it and it seems to track fairly well with a slight pull to the right after like 10 seconds or so of freeway driving without touching the wheel (safety feature I suppose?).. Only thing is that the wheel still looks like its off to the right a few degrees and I was wondering if that was the way they sat stock (I never paid attention until now) or if its still off a bit..
Thanks,
Brian
Thanks,

my steering wheel is like yours too
I went to the dealership thinking it was something wrong with the alignment, but after they said they "fixed" the alignment on the car, i drove out of the dealership and it was still the same
So maybe its something wrong with the streering wheel :O

My steering wheel is dead center and I've had a front wheel alignment on my tC. While they probably did the alignment correct, they just didn't center the steering wheel perfectly before the did it...it happens.
It's perfectly normal for a car to veer off in one direction or another at cruising speed it's another to feel a pulling on the wheel. There are many factors that allow this to happen: 1) Wind resistance pushing the car 2) Small debris in the road or pot holes regardless of size 3) A road that isn't perfectly grade, most roads aren't perfectly flat and without fault 4) Unequal air pressure in the tires.
Try going to an empty parking lot and testing it there, parking lots are normally graded flat and even. If the car still veers off, take it back to the place that did the alignment and tell them what's going on and to center the steering wheel this time
