I've been searching around the internet for OEM steering wheel spacers but I'm only finding them for a few brands. Anyone heard of any for the tc?
I'm still trying to keep the OEM steering wheel on so I don't to get a racing steering wheel/quick release.
Basically the issue is I'm really tall so I have my seat all the way back and leaned back a bit but the steering wheel is just slightly too far.
Having another 3 inches would help (lol)

I agree. Three inches would make cruising more comfortable. It's probably short to improve driver's side crash rating. Three inches closer might make the airbag more dangerous.

 

​​​​​​I see your point and i thought about that. But shouldnt the closeness be rated for comfortably sitting your wrists on the steering wheel? I feel like if i moved it up to that distance itd make it safe. Id imagine being too far would be dangerous too. But i guess thats besides the point, i just want to find som sort of aftermarket option. I think a few other toyotas share steering wheel setups with this car so i might look into aftermarket for other cars.

 

959 makes them for a few different models of Toyota.
