Default steering wheel distance

I honestly think one thing I would change about the tC for sure would be for it to have a telescoping steering wheel. I'm sure some of you, like me would love to bring the wheel closer so minimize knee interference and what not. Has anyone figured out a practical way to do this?? perhaps a stack of washers on the studs of the hub?

The tC has tilt only...no telescoping.

I agree with the OP though..I need another inch or two to keep from either doing a ghetto lean or bumping my knees and looking like I am giving birth.

yeah only tilt :-(. I know an aftermarket wheel and hub would probably help, but I like my air bag lol.

I would also like to know if you can Add an aftermarket hub/adapter to move the steering out (towards the driver) about an inch or two
