Besides that it's a lot shorter, what other differences are there? I see everyone have one, but is it simply because the stock antenna is really ugly looking? Is the reception better?

 

I would say that because they are BOTH Original Equipment...i would say that the Reception is the same. Unless the S2000 Antennas have some sort of micro-chip :D

I just went to the Honda Dealership: $25.
I got tired of waiting for Toyota to Install my steering wheel...so i just walked next door to HONDA.

Be careful if you go on Ebay....

 

i dont like the stock antenna at all. its way too long, it wiggles and moves a lot in the wind, and has vein-like twisty junk on it. i have an s2000 antenna on mine and i love it. got it for 25$ at a local honda dealer as well.

 

Got mine for $17.

Definately get an s2000 antena if you want a stubby antenna. If you get a cheap stubby antenna, your FM AM reception will suck.
