Stock suspension boot grease type?

Stock suspension boot grease type?
Hello every one. I'm new to the site and have gotten some pretty good help on diy posts I've run across. My car is a 2009 scion tc. So here's my issue. I just replaced my front struts and sway bar links, and all went well. Except I discovered the boots on my ball joints, and tie rods are leaking grease. I know they need to be replaced. And they will, but for now I'm just going to seal them up with some silicone, silicone tape and re-grease them until I can do the repairs. My question here is. What type of grease should I use for the stock boots? I heard mixing certain greases can actually be harmul and render each other useless. For example mixing lithium grease and polyurea grease is not good. Does any one know the grease type used in the stock boots so I don't make that mistake? Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

I'm pretty confident your silicone and silicone tape fixes aren't going to last more than a few days, at best. Unless they're completely destroyed i'd leave them alone until you can do it properly and replace them, relatively soon one would hope.

I know the fix won't last too long. I just want to make sure I keep at least some grease on the bearings until this weekend. So any idea of the grease type in the stock boots? I just want to make sure I use the right type.

+1 to what MileHigh said. It's not worth it to do it twice if you're already replacing the parts soon. Won't help much at all, the damage is already done.
Grab OE replacement CV boot kits (they're cheap) and it come with grease and everything you need.

Thank you for responding guys. Yes these boots are totally destroyed and weren't holding grease so I did the temp repair and packed them up with grease. They are no longer leaking so that's a good thing. I ended up using the polyurea grease because it has the best viscosity for the application I'm using it for. As recommended by my local Toyota dealer.
Of course they tried to get me to bring it to them to fix it ,but I told them I will be doing it myself. I will however be buying my new ball joints, and tie rod ends from them. Thanks for the help guys.
So if anyone needs to know the proper grease to refill your boots with. It's the polyurea. For the original stock boots at least.
