i've been running mine a little higher than normal.. 33-34 front.. and 30-31 rear.. seeing if i can get a little better fuel economy by decreasing the rolling resistance in the tires by increasing the air pressures..

what's "normal" is 32 front.. 29 rear..

hope that helps..

Why would you need to know the tire pressure on a car you don't even own?

You are right. The concept of learning about a car before actually owning is its just plain dumb.

alright.. calm down i do have a tc but have never gotten around to changing that "future owner" part, it did say what I have in the past, but looks like updates to this forum changed that.. so yes I have a tC and still have nothing better to do but spend my time here

i don't have a manual transmission, have an auto.. why? is the air pressures different for the manual transmission model? i didn't think they were.. 32 front / 29 rear is what mine says..

We're talking about tire pressure here, man....... That would be the last thing I needed to know while doing "research" on my new car. So, since you're speaking for irreligious, tell him when he gets to the dealership he should check all tires and ask for a discount if any of them are low. I mean, that air has to be included in the price somewhere....

I run mine maybe 33/30 just like Mich (who has been posting forever, so lay off). As a related aside, every time i get my free oil changes at the dealer, they change my (hot) tires to 30 all around. At least I got the 5W30 this time (but I asked for it so I have no idea if i would have got it otherwise).

thanks iowagary.. yeah the big bullies kept ganging up on me.. thanks for helping out lol

seriously.. i think it's hilarious that the dealer doesn't understand the concept of tires that are HOT.. not cold.. and still lower it down to the cold setting while hot.. glad you were able to get the correct oil this time too..
